My name is Daniel Dönigus, and under the alias Dev Guru, I explore the intersection of technology, creativity, and automation.

I write about – and work with – technologies that help people automate the boring stuff and unlock new creative possibilities:

    From smart image generation to custom AI systems, I’m deeply fascinated by the way machines can amplify human creativity.

    Whether it’s scripting workflows, building self-healing systems, or connecting APIs – I love making things run on their own.

  • Smart Home
    I don’t just talk to my home. It listens, reacts, and learns. I experiment with intelligent living environments that feel futuristic but are built today.

  • 3D Printing
    Bits into atoms: I design, prototype, and produce physical objects with 3D printing, often powered by code and data.

Often, I combine these fields – for example, using AI to generate 3D-printable models, or automating smart home routines.
